When you order with Next Day Koi, we use innovative shipping liners to make sure your koi don’t have to be at the mercy of temperatures inside the planes and vehicles they take to get to your front door.
These climate shields are also helpful for those orders that might make it to your front door when you aren’t home.

We have three liner options to choose from during checkout: Climate Shield Insulated Liners, Nature Safe Biodegradable Liners, and Ultra Shield Insulated Cooler.
Climate Shield Insulated Liner
This bag is made of synthetic material that maintains the ambient temperature of the shipping box. The liner opens up, allowing us to place your koi or goldfish in it. It is then carefully placed in the shipping box and sealed with a built-in adhesive strip along the top edge, locking in the warmth and blocking out the cold.
Nature Safe Biodegradable Liner
If you are looking for something that is a little more eco-friendly, the Nature Safe Liner is completely biodegradable and is made from 100% recycled materials.
It consists of two separate pieces that fit together inside of the shipping box and completely surround the bag containing your fish. This seals out any extreme or low temperatures and traps the warmer temperatures in. It also provides a snug ride, stopping the bag from sliding around inside the shipping box during transit.
Ultra Shield Insulated Cooler
The Ultra Shield Insulated Cooler is the most effective climate-control option we offer. These insulated containers are the very same cooler-style boxes that our imported fish are shipped to us in, so you know they have got to be good!
The Ultra Shield Insulated Cooler is comprised of thick, dense styrofoam, designed to be sturdy and strong enough to withstand the less-than-careful practices used in shipping. They are hardy enough to withstand long hauls across the continent, keeping the harsh elements out while maintaining a safe, temperate environment within.
The Ultra Shield Insulated Cooler is available for orders totaling $300 or more.

Are the koi fishes measured in inches? And do u guys sell tanks and plants as well?
Yes, all fish listed for sale on our website are measured in inches from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail fin. This measurement is reflected in the listing title on each item. As for live plants, we do not sell those. We only offer live fish and fish food.
